The version 1.4.0 update for Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles has been released by Square Enix. Several bug fixes for text issues, in-game events, and general game stability are included. Better in-game performance is obtained by installing Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles update 1.4.0.
Patch Notes:
General:
- The version number is now displayed in the bottom right of the version selection screen and the enhanced version title screen.
Enhanced:
- Japanese voice and text for the ability Northswain’s Strike have been resolved.
- The Akademy report “Master of All Trades” issue preventing completion under certain circumstances has been fixed.
- For the above issue, the check for fulfilled conditions is performed again after loading saved data and accessing the in-game main menu.
- Minor text issues in all languages have been resolved.
- Certain sound effects have been adjusted.
- Overall stability has been improved.
- Other minor issues have been resolved.
- The character name “Helvynya,” which was incorrectly displayed as “Holy,” has been corrected.
- For units recruited as “Holy” in save data:
- If the unit’s name was changed, the new name remains unchanged.
- If unchanged, “Helvynya” is now displayed.
- Unit names can be changed at the warriors’ guild.
