    Battlefield 6 Update 1.1.2.0 Adds Eastwood Map, Sabotage Mode, New Weapons, and Battle Pass Path

    A major Season 1 update numbered 1.1.2.0 has been deployed for Battlefield 6 by Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios on November 18.

    The new Southern California-themed Eastwood map has been added, alongside the limited-time Sabotage mode, DB-12 Shotgun, M357 Trait Sidearm, and further controller responsiveness enhancements.

    Aim assist settings have been fully reverted to Open Beta tuning for consistent targeting across all inputs.

    California Resistance Content Added

    New features under the California Resistance drop have been introduced.

    • Eastwood map has been implemented with a Southern California theme, supporting all official modes, including Conquest with tanks, helicopters, and Golf carts.
    • Sabotage limited-time mode focused on demolition and counterplay, has been added.
    • DB-12 Shotgun and M357 Trait Sidearm weapons have been released.
    • Rodeo mission type for Gauntlet mode, featuring vehicle battles with bonus points for vehicle kills, has been included.
    • Sandbox map and Golf Cart vehicle for Portal creators have been enabled.
    • California Resistance bonus Battle Pass path has been unlocked for a limited time.
    • Slim Handstop underbarrel attachment via Challenge has been made available.
    • Battle Pickups feature scheduled for later in the update has been prepared.

    Aim Assist Reverted to Open Beta Tuning

    Aim assist has been reset to Open Beta values following player feedback and data review.

    Consistent infantry targeting behavior across controllers and other inputs has been restored.

    Input latency and stick response for controllers have been improved for smoother aiming and movement.

    High-zoom aiming control issues from launch tuning have been addressed by maintaining a steady slowdown across all ranges.

    Key Gameplay and Balance Changes Applied

    • Weapon dispersion increase rates have been corrected globally, with non-Recon sniper accuracy enhanced.
    • Deployable gadgets, including LWCMS Portable Mortar, LTLM II Portable Laser Designator, and Supply Crate, have received major polish.
    • Challenge and progression tracking clarity has been improved.
    • Fort Lyndon location added to Portal experiences.

    Extensive Bug Fixes Implemented

    Numerous issues across player movement, vehicles, weapons, gadgets, maps, UI, settings, single player, and audio have been resolved.

    Player Movement and Animation Fixes

    • Sprint restart animation after small drops has been added.
    • Death animations for sliding and combat-dive improved.
    • Vaulting, takedown, drag-revive, and prone issues corrected.
    • Ragdoll, camera clipping, and water interaction bugs fixed.

    Vehicle and Weapon Corrections

    • Hitbox, projectile, and seating issues in helicopters, tanks, and other vehicles are addressed.
    • Optics clipping, magazine icons, and attachment alignment fixed.
    • Recoil and dispersion are tuned for specific weapons like LMR27, M39, and SVDM.

    Gadget and Mode Enhancements

    • Deployment, interaction, and visual bugs for C-4, mines, drones, and other gadgets were resolved.
    • Matchmaking, spawn, and environmental issues in modes and maps have been corrected.
    • Controller auto-sprint option and instant knife swap keybinding have been added.
